Coast Salish Kraken

This helmet is a Coast Salish style depiction of a Kraken, the helmet was painted with an airbrush and has several of the Kraken team logos. The anchor on the crown of the helmet, with Chief Seattle's name in Lushootseed, the common language spoken among local Coast Salish peoples with in Western Washington.

Coast Salish Kraken, is a passion project which will hopefully be auctioned off by the team for one of their charities. The helmet also has a nod to Hap Holmes. Goalie to the Seattle Metropolitans 1917 Stanley Cup winning team.
